03 Oct All Marketing Is Mobile — Whether You Like It or Not!
Raise your hand if you DON’T have a smartphone.
Raise your hand if you DON’T read or watch content on your smartphone.
Raise your hand if you DON’T shop on your smartphone.
Any hands in the air? Of course not!
Mobile traffic makes up more than 20% of all web traffic and with each new iPhone and Android release, that percentage increases. Because every potential client, customer, or patient you want to get in front of checks their phone on average 150 times a day, we know that your marketing plans going forward must be geared towards mobile. And we have the Google experts who will share how on October 13, 2016.

The move towards mobile is inevitable and unstoppable, yet Forrester Research tells us that most brands will under invest in mobile marketing. Which, frankly, is great news for those of us who are investing in mobile marketing for our clients because it gives them a distinct advantage over their competitors. In fact, now is a fantastic time to grab market share from all those competitors because, as Forrester puts it, mobile is a key differentiator among brands, particularly those serving the largest generation of shoppers, workers, and decision makers to ever exist: the Millennials.
That’s right, here they come roaring into their 20’s and 30’s with full time jobs and full time adult needs for their homes, their kids, their businesses — you name it. And they have been glued to their phones since they were middle schoolers. A middle school teacher friend of mine is continually amazed that for so many of her students — Gen Y — the only computer device they have access to outside the classroom is their phone.

And it’s not just the younger generations who are constantly on their phones. Next time you’re in a Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, or McDonalds in the morning, pay attention to the number of Baby Boomers and Gen-Xers staring at their phones. Pay attention to how often you stare at your own. Like I said, on average we check our phones over 150x a day! The micro-moments in which we are engaging content through mobile are increasing exponentially in frequency — not decreasing.
